Fáilte! Welcome to my website! I am excited to share with you what I have learned over the course of, well, my life! I have been performing since I was young lassie, and developed quite a passion for Scottish Highland and Step dancing as well as the music and the culture.
I have been teaching dance since I was 16 years old, and haven’t stopped since, so it felt very natural to obtain a Bachelor of Education degree. Prior to that, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and then went on to enjoy a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Whole body health and wellness has always been a way of thinking for me, and sharing that with others. Today, I continue to work as a Registered Massage Therapist at my home-based business, I teach Highland and Step dancing lessons at my home as well as at international camps, workshops, and educationally facilities, I continue to perform locally and internationally, I am an artistic director of a dance group, and now, I am furthering my passion to teach and share my knowledge through online instructional videos! I’ve always had a desire to share what I have learned and I am excited to take my teaching to a new audiences!
Sabra MacGillivray, the glory of the world, whose subtle choreography, flawless execution and breathtaking lightness – her feet tap and kick and point but the centre of her body is still and her arms float in arabesques above – outline the finest kind of highland dancing and step-dancing you will ever see.
